About Seven Stones

Seven Stones is a new luxury British knitwear brand. Expanding from the success of their first stores, Academy & Co and No.8, the Seven Stones store in Penzance is an independent clothing and lifestyle store built by brother and sister James and Kate De Seta, featuring their own line of UK-made knitwear. Founded in 2007, Academy and Co are an independently owned and operated Clothing and Lifestyle store located in St Ives, Cornwall.

The Project

A start-up brand identity kit complete with bespoke illustration and style guide. Inspired by classic brand identities such as Loewe, Celine, Dior, and PanTechnicon, the Seven Stones brand identity fuses traditional fine art with classical materials to create an established, aged brand. Packed with a bespoke collection of still life pencil studies, sharp serif type, and a set of high-class material finishes including gold foil, marble, paper, this brand is refined, minimalist, and confident in delivering the finest quality.
